In this information, I recommended that walkers arrive at the Walmart at exit 16 on I-84 (address 23500 NE Sandy Blvd. Wood Village 98060) so that you can carpool to the walk as there is limited parking and not water or restrooms. I recommended that walkers meet around 8 am so that you can use the restrooms, and decide who will be riding together. Note: Some walkers will have lunch at Cascade Locks and others will return directly to Walmart. The first restrooms/water for this walk are at the 2.5 kms into the walk.
Both the 5 km and 10 km walk will start at 9:30 am with registration starting at 9 am.
It takes about 45 minutes to drive from Walmart (Mile 16) to Viento State Park (Mile 56) so I recommend that you leave Walmart at or before 8:30.
Also note that in September, all Wednesday walks will start at 10 am for both the 5 and 10 km routes.
